I joined CES in 2009 to be part of a community of evaluation professionals and engage in professional development
Accessing high-quality professional development opportunities, such as conferences, workshops, webinars and the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation has helped me to continue to develop my competencies and keep up to date with the latest developments in the field.
The Credentialed Evaluator (CE) designation allows me to demonstrate that I am able to conduct high-quality evaluation work while also promoting the profession.
Having a community of evaluators to interact with has been immensely valuable. Being an evaluator can be lonely at times, and it's nice to have colleagues to turn to for support, camaraderie and mutual learning.
