In-person workshop with Molly den Heyer, PhDT
This interactive workshop will provide an overview of Logical Frameworks /Theories of Change and how they are used to plan, implement, and evaluate social programs. At the end of the workshop participants should be able to:
Understand and describe how logical frameworks and theories of change are used in social programs, particularly around planning, monitoring and evaluation.
Design a basic theory of change that highlights the connections between activities and short, medium and long-term outcomes.
Understand the role of stakeholders in creating and maintaining a shared vision of how actions lead to desired results.
Identify risks and assumptions underlying theories of change.
Use a theory of change as a springboard for monitoring and evaluation systems, particularly in terms of tracking progress along the causal pathways.
Explore the range of theories of change and the various representations.
