AI for Evaluation: Applications throughout the Evaluation Cycle (in French)

Today, Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are integrated into multiple disciplines, including the evaluation of programs to process massive volumes of data and automate certain analytical tasks (Brynjolfsson & McAfee, 2017). This course offers an exploration of the use of AI in the field of program evaluation. Participants will learn how AI can enrich every step of the evaluation cycle, from planning to disseminating results.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the key concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and their implications for evaluation.
  • Identify concrete applications of AI at each stage of the evaluation cycle (planning, data collection, analysis, dissemination and use of results).
  • Critically assess the opportunities and limitations of AI in the context of program evaluation.
  • Develop ways to integrate AI into their professional practices.
