Are you new to evaluation or need a refresher on the fundamentals? Enroll in the CES e-Institute’s Essential Skills Series course. This self-paced course has 10 modules covering everything from evaluation objectives to practical skills like budgeting and workplan development. After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the role of evaluation in the program life cycle;
  • Explain common evaluation terms, functions, and approaches;
  • List the steps in planning and conducting an evaluation;
  • Describe how common social science data collection methods are used in evaluations;
