Meet the Conference Co-Chairs of the 2024 National Conference (May 5-8)

Mollie Coombs and Michelle Anderson-Draper, CE, are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Fredericton, New Brunswick, for the 2024 National Conference, which is sure to appeal to all evaluators.

Mollie lives in Fredericton and works as a Program Evaluator with the Government of New Brunswick. Michelle recently moved from Edmonton, Alberta, to Kelowna, British Columbia, and is currently with the University of British Columbia supporting the Okanagan campus with a major information system transition. Together, they bring both a national and local flair.

They are working with the conference committee to creating a program that will offer a wide range of strands to appeal to all evaluators, under the theme of “Renewal and Confluence: Navigating the Future of Evaluation.”

“We are inviting evaluators to come together and explore practices and approaches under the lens of growth and always with respect for one another,” says Michelle. “It’s an opportunity to come together to have challenging, inspiring and thought-provoking conversations. It’s also a time to reconnect with colleagues and friends, and build connections with new ones.”

“Emphasizing the inclusion of diverse perspectives and worldviews creates an environment where different approaches and methodologies in evaluation can be shared and discussed,” adds Mollie. “By centering on themes like renewal and confluence, we hope the conference will foster dialogue and collaboration, and create a space for attendees to share their perspectives, experiences and solutions.”

So mark your calendars for May 5-8, 2024, and plan to join us! Not only will you get top-notch education, you’ll also experience the local wonders of New Brunswick and an abundance of Maritime hospitality.
