Call for Co-Chairs – Teaching Evaluation Community of Interest

The CES Teaching Evaluation Community brings together individuals who are passionate about teaching and learning in evaluation. Whether in academic settings, professional training environments, or informal learning contexts.

CES Communities of Interest require two Co-chairs to provide leadership and support activity. CES is very appreciative to Tim Aubry (University of Ottawa) and Robert Shepherd (Carleton University) for taking on the initial roles of Co-chairs and getting the community of interest up and running.

We are now looking for new Co-chairs to carry on their work to facilitate this important community of interest.

As Co-Chair, you will help foster connections, support knowledge sharing, and shape activities such as webinars, discussions, and resource development.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have an interest or experience in teaching evaluation (formal or informal)
  • Are passionate about advancing evaluation education and practice
  • Bring curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to engage others
  • May be established or emerging educators, including early-career academics, practitioners, or trainers

You do not need to be a senior academic. We welcome diverse perspectives and experiences, especially from those eager to contribute and help build this community. If you’re interested in helping shape the future of evaluation training within CES, we’d love to hear from you!
