Call for Applications: Editorial Team Member

The Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation/La Revue canadienne d’évaluation de programmes (CJPE/RCEP) invites applications for a new Editorial Team Member to support the journal’s mission of advancing the theory, practice, and use of program evaluation in Canada and internationally.

As a bilingual, peer-reviewed journal published by the Canadian Evaluation Society, CJPE provides a critical platform for evaluators, scholars, and practitioners to share research, insights, and innovations in evaluation across diverse sectors.

Responsibilities of Editorial Team Members:
● Handle paper submissions and review processes
● Contribute to the well-functioning of the journal along with the rest of the team
● Promote the journal within academic, professional, and practitioner communities
● Contribute to the strategic development and continuous improvement of the journal

Qualifications:
We are seeking individuals with:
● A Ph.D. and a position of assistant, associate or full professor in a Canadian University
● Demonstrated expertise in program evaluation theory and/or practice
● Experience with scholarly publishing (as author, reviewer, or editor)
● Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in evaluation scholarship
● Fluency in English or French (bilingualism is an asset)

Term and Commitment:
● Appointments are for a three-year term, renewable based on mutual interest
● Team members are expected to engage actively throughout the term
