The call for nominations for the next CES President closed on February 25, 2026 and concluded with one candidate interested in the position.

In accordance with policy, if only one member is standing for election, they will be acclaimed following the review period. The nomination review period by members will take place for a period of four weeks to inform CES members of the nomination, starting Wednesday, March 11th, and closing on Wednesday, April 8th, midnight PT.
