We are delighted to invite you to the official launch of the CES Community of Interest (CI) on Sustainability.
This first session will feature Astrid Brousselle, who will discuss her upcoming book on applying planetary health to evaluation. She will share strategies to integrate sustainability across evaluation practice, along with tools and resources evaluators can use.
You will also hear about the recent launch of the FootPrint Evaluation website, and about upcoming activities for the CI. A beautiful way to start the year with professional development on environmental stewardship and ecological justice. We look forward to seeing you there!
Panelist
Astrid Brousselle is a professor in the School of Public Administration at the University of Victoria. Her expertise relates to the evaluation approaches, theories and methods that she applies to the field of health and to Planetary Health. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of Montreal. She held a Canada Research Chair in Evaluation and Analysis of the Health System at the Université de Sherbrooke (Prov. of Quebec) before joining the University of Victoria as the Director of the School of Public Administration. Now that she is back in her regular role of professor, she is the current Editor in Chief of the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation/La Revue Canadienne d’Évaluation de Programme. And she has just finished writing a textbook that will soon be published in Open Access: Foundations of Evaluation in the Anthropocene Era. A Textbook for Advancing Planetary Health Across Evaluation Practice.
