CE Designation Group Mentoring

In response to a request to provide group mentoring to support CES members in obtaining their CE designation, CES’s Mentoring Initiative is launching the CE Designation Group Mentoring Program.

Cohorts will be offered based on members’ time zone (Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec, Atlantic Canada) and language preference (English or French).

The program will provide an overview of the CE application process, including a suggested approach to completing the application, dos and don’ts, and a review of each of the five competency domains including examples of drafted competency narratives.

Participants who meet the CE Designation requirements will meet virtually on a monthly basis for one hour from October to June.

  • Overview of the CE application process -  October
  • Reflective Practice - November
  • Technical Practice - December
  • Situational Practice - January
  • Management Practice - February
  • Interpersonal Practice - April
  • Mentors available for Q&A and review of specific competencies (but not full application reviews) May and June.

Please note that mentoring hours can be counted towards CE maintenance. For more information about the CE Designation requirements.
