As announced in March (https://evaluationcanada.ca/about/latest-news.html?id=314), the requirements for the CE designation are changing. Any CE application submitted before August 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm PDT will be assessed using the current requirements. There will be a blackout period from Sept 1-Sept 31, 2024 during which no CE applications can be submitted. (For anyone whose CE application period ends during the blackout period who does not submit their application by Aug 31, a grace period will be granted to allow them to submit their application in Oct 2024 under the new requirements). Any application that is submitted or re-submitted on Oct 1, 2024 or later will be assessed using the new requirements. Given this change, we anticipate a large number of applications to be submitted around August 31, 2024. Thus, applicants should anticipate a longer than normal time for their application to be reviewed;it may take several months to receive the result. Also, for those applicants submitting or re-submitting after Oct 1, 2024, there is likely to be a longer than normal review time, as all applications submitted before August 31 will be reviewed before new applications.We thank applicants for their patience as we work through this transition!
