Registration Fees

Registration is now open!

Rates are generally lower during the early-bird period closing on April 5. Included in the registration: 

  • Breakfasts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
  •  Lunches on Monday and Tuesday 
  • Refreshments on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 
  • Opening reception on Sunday


The “member” registration rates apply to CES members in good standing at the time of registration, including members with joint AEA, AES, ANZEA and EES memberships. (For Visa letter information, please see below.) 

  • Member registration, early-bird rate (until April 5): $625 
  • Member registration, regular rate (after April 5): $700 
  • Full-time student registration: $275



The "non-member" registration rates apply to all others, including members of the Société québécoise d'évaluation de programme and the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter who are not members of the CES. Membership is not included in the registration fees for non-members. (For Visa letter information, please see below.)  

  • Non-member registration, early-bird rate (until April 5): $825 
  • Non-member registration, regular rate (after April 5): $900 
  • Full-time student registration: $375


Online broadcast of the plenaries

For those unable to attend the conference in person, the three plenary conferences on May 5, 6 and 7 will be broadcast online. This registration does not provide access to a recording of these events, nor the ability to ask questions virtually. 

  • CES members: $50
  • Non-members: $100
  • Students, New Practitioners, and the Global South: $10


Visa Letter Information

Participants who require a visa to enter Canada may need a letter of invitation to attend the 2024 National Conference. To request a letter, please complete this form. If you need help, please contact


Reimbursement of registration, less an administration fee of $100, is possible for requests received in writing to no later than the end of the day on April 5, 2024. 

After this date, no refunds will be provided, but we will accept substitution of delegates. The replacement person is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with this substitution as well as updating all contact information.
