Sunday & Monday: Orientation Sessions

New to Conference or have questions? Join us for a brief orientation session at the Fredericton Convention Centre Hospitality Desk:

  • May 5: 5:30pm-6pm
  • May 6: 8am-8:30am

Sunday Evening: Opening Reception

We cordially invite you to the opening reception on May 5, from 6pm to 8:30pm, at the Fredericton Convention Centre, for an evening of networking and live music, and to participate in the Silent Auction benefiting the Canadian Evaluation Society Educational Fund. This event marks the commencement of the conference and promises to be a highlight of your experience, providing ample opportunities to connect with fellow attendees, exchange insights, and forge valuable relationships in a vibrant, collegial atmosphere.  

One ticket is included in your registration. You can purchase additional tickets if needed.

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: Early-Morning Jaunts

Whether you prefer a leisurely start to your day or an invigorating morning run, we've got you covered. Join us from 6:45am to 7:30am for volunteer-led outings each morning of the conference. Meandering along the beautiful Wolastoq River, the Fredericton Capital Region Trails offer the ideal opportunity to discover the sights and natural beauty of the area.

Monday: Q&A on the CE Designation

Are you considering or currently applying for the Credentialed Evaluator (CE) designation? Join us for a Q&A session on the application process from 5pm to 5:30pm to hear about the upcoming changes to the process and ask your questions.

Monday: Student Case Competition Reception

The final round of the Student Evaluation Case Competition takes place at the Conference. Join us at the reception from 5:30pm to 6:30pm to meet the contestants and find out this year's winners.

Monday Evening: Dine-Around & Hospitality Suite

What could be better than sharing a meal and discussing evaluation - and any other subject that gets your juices going? Running from 6:30pm to 8pm, dine-around-town dinners allow small groups to get together in a relaxed atmosphere and to talk freely. (Participants will be responsible for their own meal expenses.)

Then at 8pm, join us at the Southside Shake (Hilton Garden Inn), one of Fredericton’s trendiest hotspots, for a delightful gathering where you can indulge in refreshments while unwinding in a laid-back atmosphere that encourages genuine connections and quality social interactions with both friends and colleagues.

Tuesday: Thematic Breakfast

Enjoy your breakfast while you have a roundtable discussion with your table partners on pivotal or current subjects, sharing your insights and learning from others.

Tuesday: Awards Luncheon

Celebrate excellence in evaluation! Gather with your peers to honour outstanding contributions to the field, innovative methodologies and projects, and the invaluable individuals shaping the landscape of evaluation in Canada.

One ticket is included in your registration. You can purchase additional tickets if needed.

Tuesday Evening Soirée 

From 7pm to 10pm, join us for an exquisite evening at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery as we host our Tuesday Evening Soirée, a celebration of art and community. Nestled within the heart of Fredericton, the Beaverbrook serves as a vibrant cultural hub, uniting individuals through its dynamic exhibitions, diverse programming, enriching educational initiatives, and dedicated stewardship of artistic treasures. 

Immerse yourself in the splendor of the gallery's collections as expertly guided tours unveil the stories behind each masterpiece. Please note that there are limited spots available for tours during the evening, so be sure to sign-up upon arrival. Enjoy entertainment, including dance lessons, and refreshments that tantalize the taste buds. 

As the sun sets and the ambiance grows, we invite you to join us in this enchanting setting for an evening of camaraderie and inspiration. 

Tickets are $50 per person and include some light refreshments and a complimentary drink ticket to enhance the experience. We look forward to seeing you at what promises to be a truly beautiful and memorable event!
