Getting There

There are a number of options to get to Fredericton in an efficient and sustainable way. Learn more about the discounts and public travel incentives available for C2024 attendees below.

Air Canada Discount

VIA Rail Discount

Take advantage of a special offer with VIA Rail. Between April 21 and May 13, receive 10% off the best available fare to Moncton, NB, in Economy, Economy Plus, Business, Business Plus, Sleeper class. (Subject to the conditions and restrictions of the fare plan to which the additional discount is being applied. Discount does not apply in any Escape fares and Prestige Class.)

Fare applies to a maximum of two passengers per booking. One complimentary stopover is allowed at no additional charge. For travel on all fare plans in Business class, the first stopover is allowed at no additional charge, provided that this stopover takes place in Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa only.

Bus

The bus terminal in Fredericton is the Maritime Bus Fredericton Terminal, located at 105 Dundonald St., Fredericton.

Public Travel Incentive

The CES will reimburse delegates 50% of the cost of public transportation (bus or train) for any segment of their return trip to C2024, up to a maximum reimbursement of CAD$200 per delegate. This opportunity is available to delegates who have registered for C2024 and have self-funded public transportation for some portion of their travel to and from Fredericton. First come, first served: up to CAD$4000 is available, based on the amount of carbon offset collected at last year’s conference.
