Dr. Christine Frank, passed away on March 31, 2025, at the Soldier's Memorial Hospital. Without Dr. Frank’s steady dedication to working with Brigite Maicher on the Competencies for Canadian Evaluation Practice, CES’ Credentialed Evaluators designation will not have been possible (SeeThe Development and Initial Validation of Competencies and Descriptors for Canadian Evaluation Practice and View from the Credentialing Board: Where We've Been and Where We're Going).
Dr. Frank was one of the first credentialed evaluators (CE) in Canada, having been awarded the Service to the Canadian Evaluation Society award in 2010. She helped develop the Society’s program and served as a member of its Credentialing Board.
Dr. Frank was the Principal of Christine Frank and Associates (CFA). Over the years, Chris lead teams of researchers in conducting program evaluations for organizations across several sectors including education, health, immigration/settlement, international development, and social services. She held a PhD in Education and was a core instructor in the postgraduate Research Analyst Program at Georgian College in Barrie from 2000 to 2008.
