Join Us in Person or Virtually to Celebrate our 2024 Award Winners

Join us for our Awards Ceremony as we honour the leaders of our profession in 2024 and applaud their commitment to excellence!

Each year, the CES Awards Ceremony brings together evaluation professionals and enthusiasts from across Canada and around the world. Attendees are the first to celebrate the winners across four categories:

• CES-CESEF Student Evaluation Case Competition: We’ll announce which team of post-secondary students won this year’s competition, as well as the recipient of the prestigious graduate scholarship.
• Contribution to Evaluation in Canada Award: This award recognizes an individual or individuals who have made a significant contribution to the theory and/or practice of evaluation in Canada over an extended period of time.
• Service to the CES Award: This award recognizes a member who has made a significant contribution to the work of the CES over a period in excess of two years – and typically much more.
• Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation Awards: These awards recognize the best article, practice notes and/or reviewer in the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation (CJPE) over a 12-month period (April to April).

This your chance to gather with your peers to hear about outstanding contributions that were made to the field, innovative methodologies and projects, and the invaluable individuals shaping the landscape of evaluation in Canada.
