SEEK Award 2027 – Call for Submissions!

Are you a student or emerging evaluator looking to make a lasting impact in the field of evaluation? The Student and Emerging Evaluator advancing Knowledge (SEEK) Award is your chance to shine!

The SEEK Award, a collaboration between the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) and the Canadian Evaluation Society Educational Fund (CESEF), celebrates excellence in evaluation theory and practice. It honors outstanding work that advances the field of evaluation, giving you the opportunity to showcase innovative ideas and make a mark in the evaluation community.

Why Apply?

• $500 cash award and up to $1,500 for travel, accommodation, and meals to attend the 2026 CES Conference in Edmonton, Alberta.
• CES student membership, conference registration, and a presentation at the CES Conference.
• Publication of your project abstract in a CES Web news broadcast.
• Mentorship and the chance to publish your work in the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation (CJPE).
• Plus, the opportunity to network with experts and gain national exposure!

Eligibility:

• You must be a current student in a Canadian post-secondary institution or an emerging evaluator (entered the field in the last 5 years).
• Submit a paper (max 3,000 words) on an innovative evaluation topic.
• Papers can be in English or French.

Deadline: January 15, 2027.
