The Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) is seeking Expressions of Interest from CES Fellows and CESEF coaches with a Credentialed Evaluator (CE) designation to serve as Supervisors and Coaches for Phase 2 of the evaluation of the CES Individual Mentoring Initiative.
Interested Fellows and/or coaches are invited to submit a short paragraph or two describing:
Applicants should also submit a recent resume and provide two references of students/emerging evaluators they have supervised, coached or mentored.

Context
Phase 1 of the evaluation was completed in December 2025 and established the evaluation plan, tools, and overall framework.
Phase 2 will focus on implementation, including refinement of tools, data collection, analysis, and reporting. This work will be carried out by a team of students and/or emerging evaluators who are members of CES.
Supervisors/Coaches will provide oversight and guidance to ensure the quality, rigor, and integrity of the evaluation.

Supervisors/Coaches will work alongside the Mentoring Subcommittee’s Evaluation Working Group, which will provide supporting documentation and related data on the Individual Mentoring Initiative.
Commitment
The timeline for Phase 2 is expected to run between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, with flexibility based on project requirements and availability of the evaluation team.
Supervisor/Coaches will be expected to engage at key stages of the evaluation and provide timely feedback to support progress.

Applicants must declare any real or perceived conflicts of interest. Individuals with a conflict related to the CES Individual Mentoring Initiative are not eligible to participate. Selected supervisors/coaches will be notified in early Fall 2026, with work anticipated to begin in October 2026.
