The Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) invites Expressions of Interest from members who are passionate about advancing evaluation learning to join the newly established e-Institute Curriculum Advisory Board (CAB).
The CAB provides strategic advice to support the selection, development, and continuous improvement of e-Institute courses. Members will help identify emerging learning needs, review course proposals and evaluation data, recommend curriculum priorities, and contribute to a multi-year learning plan that aligns with CES's strategic priorities and professional competencies.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome Expressions of Interest from CES members in good standing who have:
CES encourages applications from members representing diverse groups, sectors, perspectives, and lived experiences.
Commitment
The CAB will meet a minimum of two (2) times annually, with additional meetings convened as required. Meetings will primarily be held virtually. Members are expected to contribute approximately 15–25 hours per year, including participation in meetings, review of materials, and consultation on curriculum-related matters.
Chair Opportunity
Members interested in serving as Chair are invited to indicate this in their Expression of Interest. The Chair works collaboratively with the e-Institute Director to facilitate meetings, support annual planning, coordinate Board activities, and guide strategic discussions.
Applicants interested in the Chair role should ideally demonstrate experience in committee leadership, facilitation, strategic planning, and collaborative decision-making. Experience with curriculum development, professional learning, or governance is considered an asset.
