Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming our societies and sparking numerous debates about its challenges and opportunities. The field of evaluation is no exception. Whether AI is met with enthusiasm, skepticism, or criticism, one thing is certain: evaluators will need to develop and master new skills to adapt to this evolving landscape.

This presentation will provide insights into both the potential and the risks of AI in evaluation, while highlighting the essential competencies needed to evaluate in a world where this technology plays an increasingly important role.
