The final report from the Third EvalPartners Global Forum held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, April 26-28, 2017, is now available. The report was prepared by Natalia Kosheleva with input from a large team of volunteers.
The report recaps the reasons for holding the forum under the theme "Transforming our world through evaluation: engagement and partnership for the better world we want". The forum was an opportunity to enhance the implementation of the EvalAgenda 2020 and to improve its contribution to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The Forum provided a platform for the exchange of experiences between evaluation stakeholders and blending of their ideas, and lead to reaffirmed engagement and strengthened partnerships.
The final report summarizes the discussions that took place within EvalPartners Networks and among Networks, as well as in sectoral and cross-sectoral meetings. Key take-aways articulated by thought leaders are synthesized, including those of CES fellow Robert Lahey. The roadmaps developed by each of the five EvalPartner Networks are presented and the Bishkek Partnership Statement is introduced.
The report also reflects the key partnership developed with the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic and the strong ties that the national Kyrgyz evaluation association has put to profit.
