2016
The sustainable development goals, adopted in 2015 by the General Assembly of the United Nations, reserve an important role for evaluation. A partnership between international institutions has just published evaluation tools that use the lenses of equity and gender sensitivity in order that no one is left behind during evaluations.
The EvalGender+ site provides a guide to assist in integrating this inclusive lens in evaluation strategies at the country level. It also offers a series of training modules that accompany the guide. These tools are available in English only.
Several organizations are behind the initiative, including EvalGender+, United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG), the Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) of UN Women, EvalPartners, Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation, International Organizations for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE), UNICEF, UNFPA and PNUD.
