2017
In recent years, the partnership between CES and Canadian Government Executive Magazine (CGEM) has been a growing collaboration to promote evaluation among public sector managers across Canada. The CGEM is a trade publication that targets a readership of over 60,000 public sector executives in federal, provincial and municipal departments across Canada. With an applied focus, the Magazine complements and potentially extends CES papers which are presented at Annual CES Conferences and/or published in The Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation (CJPE).
The CES/CGEM collaboration has led to increased visibility and recognition for both our Society and program evaluation. The list below shows off the articles which were published in CGE by CES members over the past year, thanks in large part to the coordination and promotion by CES-NB Board Representative Wayne MacDonald. [note: access to the articles below requires a free subscription to an online CGE account.
If you wish to publish an article, CGEM is interested! Articles vary from 800 to 1300 words. The Magazine likes to showcase real, lived experience based on hard evidence and with catchy examples. It is less interested in what "should be/would be", anecdotes or opinions for content. CES hopes more members will make contributions. If you are interested, please contact Wayne MacDonald, Vice-President, New Brunswick Chapter of CES at [email protected].
