2016
Front Runner Solutions of Memorial University took home the student evaluation case competition plaque at the 2016 CES Conference on home turf in St. John’s, NL on June 6.
Team members were Olivia Cleary, Laura Fallon, Lauren Matthews, Sandra Parsons, Marshal Rodrigues; coaches were Laura May and Shannon Aylward.
It was a close contest. The team, along with the other two finalist teams – Hivemind Solutions of the University of Guelph and Insight Consulting of the University of Saskatchewan – presented their proposals for an evaluation of the Young Adult Cancer Canada Support Events Program to a panel of judges and conference delegates. This marks the first time that Memorial University has won this national competition – this being their seventh time in the finals.
The team was presented with the competition plaque at the annual CES awards luncheon.
The SEEK Awards were also presented at the conference. The Winner was Sarah Sangster of the University of Saskatchewan and the Honorable Mention was Beth Peddle, University of Ottawa.
The CES/CESEF Case Competition Working Group would like to thank the teams, coaches, judges, and our supporters for making this year's student competitions a great success. And we’ll see you in 2017 in Vancouver.
