The Board of Directors of the CES Educational Fund (CESEF) is pleased to announce that Linzi Williamson is serving as its new Chair. Linzi (PhD, CE) is a CIHR-funded postdoctoral researcher and program evaluator at the University of Saskatchewan, and she is residing in Meaford, Ontario. She joined CESEF in 2017 as a board member and Chair of the Graduate Scholarship Program, which was relaunched in 2019. Prior to this, Linzi was quite familiar with CESEF’s efforts: she was the SEEK 2017 recipient and her team Paradigm Shift Evaluations won the 2015 Student Case Competition. Linzi’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), social justice, sustainability, and investing in students and emerging evaluators makes her an ideal Chair of CESEF. Outside of work and volunteering, Linzi spends much of her time training the Australian Cattle Dog she shares her life with, Steve Irwin.
