2014
CES offers eight bursaries to residents of the Global South to attend its 2015 Conference in Montreal from May 24 to May 27. The National Board of Directors, the Société québécoise d'évaluation, the Alberta Chapter, and the National Capital Chapter have cooperated to put this program together. The value of the bursaries is $1,000 (Canadian) plus the conference registration fees. Bursary winners are expected to use this bursary to help them leverage additional funding from other organizations.
Eligible candidates reside in one of the countries of the Global South (defined as medium or lower Human Development Index, United Nations 2014 Human Development Report, Table 1, p. 160); they have made a proposal for a presentation to the CES 2015 Conference; and they have never attended CES national Conference prior to Montreal 2015. SQEP has reserved its bursary to a Francophone participant.
Bursary winners will be the highest ranking eligible submissions as determined by the conference scientific committee. The deadline for presenting an application is January 31, 2015. See the application form for details.
