What Evaluation Has to Say on Serving the Needs of Decision-makers

Thanks, Benoit, this is an excellent overview. I was also pleased to see the letter from CES to the Prime Minister about the long-form census. We need to do more advocacy as evaluators about the importance of critical knowledge from evaluations as the basis for decision-making in a democratic and pluralistic society. See also the group evidencefordemocracy.ca/ -- perhaps we could link with groups such as this to discuss these issues at our next CES conference?

Thank you for your reaction. Advocacy needs a long term plan. We are working on it.
