The countdown to the conference is on! With 60 days until the conference opens, the excitement is building. This week, we want to share our enthusiasm about our keynote presenters. Opening the conference is Halifax’s own Susanna Fuller, whose session is “Making Change: Perspectives from Policy Advocacy and Implementation”. Our closing keynote on Wednesday morning is Sharon Bala whose bestselling debut novel, The Boat People, has won awards and accolades. She will talk on “Bridges to Empathy”.
The scientific program is almost finalized, and we expect to release it by early April so you can see the fantastic programming we have scheduled in 2019.

We also want to remind you there are 16 pre and post conference workshops taking place on May 26th and May 29th. Be sure to review the details of these and book your spot to participate.
As you plan your travels and register to join us, we hope you will consider helping us “green” the conference by purchasing carbon offsets, carpooling where applicable or perhaps bringing your own reusable water bottle to refill onsite. Small changes can lead to big benefits for everyone!
We look forward to welcoming you to Halifax in May.
