Thirteen ambitious teams from across Canada competed in the first round of the Student Evaluation Case Competition on Saturday, February 9th. Teams were invited to respond to a Request for Proposals with an evaluation plan for the YMCA of Greater Toronto’s Youth Cannabis Awareness Program.
The program aims to educate youth and adults involved in young people’s lives on cannabis awareness, including potential risks, healthy choices, and informed and responsible decision making. The YMCA of Greater Toronto is interested in developing an evaluation framework for the program to assess program reach and effectiveness.
The top three teams will be invited to compete in the final round on May 27th in Halifax, Nova Scotia during the Canadian Evaluation Society’s Annual Conference.
