The Volunteer’s Role

This placement will support the efforts aimed at strengthening the capacity of the AGAPE AIDS CONTROL PROGRAMME (AACP) in the area of monitoring and evaluation of projects. Effective monitoring and evaluation will allow AGAPE to ensure accountability, transparency as well as to be able to report well their progress on the implementation of strategic plans, programs or smaller projects. As a volunteer, you will utilize monitoring and evaluation expertise to follow up on the activities of Human Rights and Community Development being implemented by AGAPE.

The Monitoring and Evaluation advisor will support the development of an M & E plan to accompany the implementation of AGAPE`s strategic plan. In that perspective, the advisor will identify gaps and share knowledge about good practices that could help to promote AGAPE`s mission, vision, values and strategic priorities within and outside the Organization.   Furthermore, the advisor will provide support to the development of an annual M & E plan with corresponding tools to monitor and assess projects implementation progress.


As a volunteer, you will:

-Support AGAPE to develop the organization’s Monitoring and Evaluation framework
-Create database for Monitoring and Evaluation activities for the organization
-Support the development of M & E plan to accompany the implementation of AGAPE`s strategic plan


Essential Academic Qualifications:
- Experience in developing database
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation
