Presenter(s)
Valery Ridde
March 27, 2013. For the last fifteen years, Valéry Ridde has had the chance to use participatory approaches to evaluate programs (e.g., in Quebec or Afghanistan), to develop research actions (e.g., Burkina Faso), and more recently to mobilize the experiential knowledge of implementers of policy (the ‘policy makers' according to Lipsky) in Africa and analyze their processes. After a brief review of the key concepts of participatory evaluation, his presentation will focus on two recent capitalisation experiences that he and his teams conducted in West Africa.
