What Should Be the Effect of Value Pluralism in Evaluation?

IT has become a commonplace belief that our society is value pluralistic. This paper xplores the effects of value pluralism on the growing discipline of evaluation. One of these effects appears to be an uncritical acceptance of value pluralism as the way things ought to be. Another is the burgeoning set of qualitative methodologies in which there are multiple realities or patterns of “truth”.
