Advocating for evaluation means presenting the value of solid evidence about program design, implementation or results for learning or decision-making. EvalPartners has produced a useful training module on advocating for evaluation. The CES has long been an active promoter of evaluation; in fact, most of what the CES does can be seen, in one way or another, as promoting quality evaluation — its production and its use. However, some particular actions of the CES were taken with the specific intent of advocating for evaluation. Here is a non-exhaustive list.
