2006 Conference Organizing Committee secures CIDA funding

Congratulations to the 2006 Conference Organizing Committee in cooperation with the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) in their successful application to the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) for funding to bring African evaluators to the CES Conference in Charlottetown, PEI from June 4 to 7, 2006 — Improving the Human Condition: Critiquing the Past, Confronting the Future.

The travel awards will cover the costs of conference and workshop registration, travel, accommodation, meals, incidentals, and visas for five to six evaluators or students of evaluation from Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Malawi, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania or Zambia plus representatives from the AfrEA Board and the AfrEA Gender and Development Evaluators Network.

CES is very pleased to beginning this collaboration with AfrEA.
