The information on the pages has been provided by Canadian Evaluation Society Chapters. Events are shown in reverse order of closing date. They are posted in the language received. The courses are organised and offered by individual Chapters for its members and for others admitted to a course by a Chapter. Each Chapter levies a charge for attendance to defray expenses, pay CES National a fee for the use of the course where appropriate and reimburse the Chapter for its administration of the course. Admittance to a course is at the discretion of the offering Chapter. In most cases, evaluators and managers who are not members of the Canadian Evaluation Society may be permitted to enrol in an offered course. However, persons considering enrolment in a course should consider course prerequisites, if any, and may wish to consult the Course administrator. The Canadian Evaluation Society is actively pursuing the development of professional development courses that serve evaluator work requirements identified by its recent research, Evaluation Benefits, Outputs and Knowledge Elements (October 2002), into the products and benefits of formal evaluation.
