The first publication of the CES Web News was e-mail on January 8, 2003 to all members having supplied a valid e-mail address in their membership file. As you probably are aware, a decision was made by the CES Council to suspend the CES Newsletter after our May 2002 issue, for a one year trial basis. Producing the Newsletter over the years has proven to be a human and budgetary resource challenge and quite honestly, to perhaps not be the most technologically advanced method of conveying information. Thus, CES Web News was born! From the response we have already been receiving to the automatic news broadcast sent out to our membership, we are confident that you will find this a useful resource and, the format will follow the same easy-to-use structure that you have become so familiar with.
CES Web News no. 1 has also been posted on the Newsletter page of this site, although it is reserved for two months to members in good standing.
